I am a senior at SJSU, 1 year away from graduating with my teaching credential. I have 1 year experience co-teaching in a 2nd grade classroom. My primary job was to work one on one with students struggling with reading, writing, and math. I love working with kids, no child is too difficult.

I currently attend Northeastern University, and have been working with children for four years. I have been directly involved with teaching kids for three years. I specialize in K-6 math and reading, and I focus on improving motivation and confidence as well as strengthening foundational skills. If kids want to learn, they will pick up concepts quicker, and I achieve this by giving kids levels of agency within the process, e.g. should we learn colors or shapes first today? which helps build ownership in the learning process.

I'm a MIT and University of Chicago graduate. I have years of tutoring experience, working for big names like Kaplan and NEXT. I have helped dozens of students with the SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, English and general math skills. I also help improve writing skills. My students have gone to top schools.
