Hi! I’m Alister, an engineering student at Stanford University. I tutor math (grade K-12), physics & chemistry (high school), and language arts (grade K-8). I have four years of experience and love working with students to solidify understanding—once students truly grasp concepts, I find they start to really enjoy the subject. As a university graduate and an educator with two years of experience in a formal classroom setting, I have the experience necessary to provide an enriching and rewarding service to my students. Being an English major in university has taught me a great deal in terms of writing as well as communicating clearly and concisely with others. I offer at-your pace lessons, conceptual breakdowns, reading and writing analyses, as well as feedback exchanges at the end of each lesson. My goal is to see my students improve as writers and demonstrate confidence in future writing endeavors.
