About
I have ten years' experience helping students prepare for standardized tests. I have helped several students improve their GRE, and GMAT test scores during that time. Do not hesitate to reach out to me if you need help preparing for any of these tests. I look forward to helping you achieve your target scores.
I enjoy helping students achieve their target scores. I pride myself on keeping abreast with each exam I tutor. I make sure students are as prepared as they can be before their tests by identifying their weaknesses from day one and providing ample practice to help them attain a high level of proficiency in those areas.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually start by discussing with the student the topics that they are struggling the most with. I then meet with them to start reviewing some of those topics. After a couple of lessons, I administer a diagnostic test to assess their progress and identify additional areas for review. I continue this process for as long as needed to help the student reach their target score.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BS and MS degrees

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rate is $70/hour but I also offer bulk purchase discounts through my GMAT and GRE websites for those who need longer-term tutoring.
How did you get started teaching?
A proctor at a test center where I took the GMAT referred a couple of students to me. I started teaching them on the side but later got into tutoring full-time as I got to work with more students through various tutoring platforms.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have tutored over 1000 students in various subjects over the last ten years.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Understand that the teacher's expertise will get you to a certain point but you also need to apply yourself to get the most out of the process. In a class of 100 students, those who complete all assignments and ask questions when they don't understand concepts are likely to be among those who get As.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Each student is different. Some grasp concepts the moment you explain things to them. Others need a little more time. Know yourself and understand that everybody is on a different track. It doesn't mean you cannot be as good as the most gifted students. It just means you might require more time and effort to get to the top. An average student who puts in the time and effort could end up doing better than a gifted student who doesn't put in as much time and effort.
