Nick is a good tutor. My son said that the chapter will be very tough . But after working with nick it’s very easy to do.

Nicks math tutoring was great. He was very calm and patient with me when learning new concepts. Increased my percentage and overall letter grade.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The typical process in helping a student would to assess what the student knows, their strengths and weeknesses. After learning the abilities of the students we can work on strengthening their weaknesses and sharping their strengths so they can be well rounded in the subject they are struggling with.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have completed high level math courses in college and I am a tutor at the university as well.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

For my sessions that are lasting between 30 mins to an hour it would be 20$. Anything lasting longer than an hour would be priced accordingly.

How did you get started teaching?

I began tutoring after completing all my higher math classes at the university and wanted to help others.

What types of students have you worked with?

I work with all kinds of students from elementary students all the way to college students.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look for a tutor that is patient with your student. Patience and persistence is the key to a students success. The tutor should be willing to stay teaching the same concept until the student fully understand, until they move on to the next topic.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

I believe the questions that students should think through would be to know exactly what they need help with. Also to know what parts of problems they do not fully understand. It would make the session more valuable to the students learning.
