In fact, the encouragement of so many parents convinced me to see what it would take to become a teacher. Many years after graduating from Stanford I began the teacher's credentialing process. In 2002 I completed my work and earned a Master's in Education. When friends asked how did I like my new job, I responded, "It's the hardest job I ever loved." And it still is. I have taught or student taught from Kindergarte...

Hey! I am a college student with over 5 years of tutoring experience. I have tutored elementary school, high school, and even college students in a variety of subjects, including math, chemistry, and languages such as Spanish and English. I love seeing the "aha" moment in my students when they finally are able to wrap their heads around a difficult concept. When I teach, I like to use analogies to explain ideas in simpler terms and provide additional perspectives. However, I can adjust my methods based on feedback from the student.
