I believe every student is capable of doing more than they think they can. Having a student regain their self confidence in the classroom and in their abilities is one of my proudest moments as an educator. I enjoy helping my students and clients find motivation and self-confidence in achieving their goals and improving their skills. Seeing children rediscover the joy in learning and in the "small things" is one of the many aspects of educating I enjoy.

Since I am a student, I can understand every emotion that comes with frustration or being stuck on assignments or lessons that may appear confusing. I put my best foot forward to first understand the lesson by myself and find a different approach to make my students understand to the best of their ability. Additionally, even if they are anxious or are having the urge to give up, I will look from the perspective of a student and comfort them to focus on understanding only what they can.

I take a very customized approach to tutoring. I understand that every student has a different need and background. Drawing from my experience, I can help you find techniques that work for you. I'm not going to get stuck in a set process or routine but instead work with you to find a way for you to improve on your own over time. Ultimately, my goal is your sustained independent success. I love that "a ha" moment and feeling of accomplishment and seeing it in others.
