I specialize in providing personalized educational support tailored to individual needs. With expertise in ESL, special needs tutoring, and reading and writing enhancement, and having been a special education teacher for over 11 years, I have worked with students from kindergarten up to 12th grade. I am here to help students feel confident and excited about learning, and will tailor my tutoring to parental goals as well as the needs of each student.

I believe every student is capable of doing more than they think they can. Having a student regain their self confidence in the classroom and in their abilities is one of my proudest moments as an educator. I enjoy helping my students and clients find motivation and self-confidence in achieving their goals and improving their skills. Seeing children rediscover the joy in learning and in the "small things" is one of the many aspects of educating I enjoy.

As a tutor, I try to give curriculum materials that support the child's needs, but also help them to advance in school by aligning to the school's challenging material or supporting the level of struggle that some grade levels carry in Common Core subjects. I tutor to support students in the long-term growth, not for short-term learning . I work to help students see progress in all their hard work practiced & expressed over time.
