About
I obtained my doctoral drgree in Chemistry and I have taught freshman chemistry lab during my graduate program. After attaining such higher education, it seems even more necessary that I give back to those in need of helping hand. Even if it's just one student, I'd like to make some kind of difference in their education.
My enthusiasm to impart knowledge usually motivates my students/colleagues to learn more. And their satisfaction in turn encourages me to continue to teach.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I prefer to teach one on one in-person, preferably in a public library.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a PhD in chemistry. However, I am knowledgeable about biology and math as well.
How did you get started teaching?
I have only taught freshman chemistry lab during my graduate program. But I also taught middle school students intermittently.
What types of students have you worked with?
Middle school and high school students.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think they should not think too much as overthinking usually causes us to second guess our questions. I'd encourage them to ask any questions that come to their mind. No question is a useless question. You never know there may be something new to learn from questions that seem irrelevant.
