About
I’ve been an all-purpose tutor since graduating Harvard University in 2013. I began with Franklin Educational Services in Los Angeles from 2014-2016, a company which emphasized techniques to work with students exhibiting attention deficit disorder, autism, and executive functioning issues. I worked from 2016-2020 with Smart Alec in NYC, with students ranging from middle-schoolers to attendants of elite academies to university students at USC, Brown, and Columbia. Since 2021, my educational work has been part-time, mixed in between film industry gigs as a producer. These part-time efforts have been focused largely on college applications and standardized test prep, as well as essay-writing support at the college level. I have experience tutoring mathematics up to calculus and statistics; literature and history at any level; essay-writing at any level; biology, chemistry, and physics at a high school level; beginner’s computer science; college-level economics; and Standardized Testing at an elite level. In the area of college applications, I have elevated my students’ essays to secure admittance to elite institutions like Berkeley, Duke, and Tufts.
I am easy-going, patient, and affable. I believe every student has the potential to succeed according to the best of their capability, given the right circumstances and encouragement. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is academic success. My hope with any student is to build the building blocks of success, not just for the specific subject or particular homework assignment, but as a foundation for sustained academic success. Elite education doesn’t teach us what to think, but HOW to think, and my primary goal is to provide that for every student.
