First, I love English! I have been teaching it for the University of California for over ten years. Not only do I tap into English in the classroom, but I am a writer as well (freelance journalist, novelist, and scriptwriter). I help my students see the many doors that a sound grasp of English opens for them. I have my MA in English, and received my BA in History - yes, I am a history nerd, too!
