I was in AP English last year, and I got a 4 on the AP English test last year. My English score on the ACT was a 34/36, and my reading score was a 32/36. I have gotten A's in English throughout middle and high school. Teachers have recommended me to be a writing tutor in the past, and have commended me for my writing abilities. On multiple occasions, my papers have been used as examples in class.
I love English and the way that sentence structures work. I'm an absolute nerd for English and writing, and I'm very passionate about helping others to love it as much as I do. I want to change the world through my writing. I express myself through my writing and I think it's important to teach others that writing can be an effective way to express yourself.

I like to get to know my students so that they know and trust me. I ask them what their goals are for writing and help them focus on accomplishing those goals. I help them find the solutions, rather than giving them to them, and I help them to understand that I am here to support them and encourage them to do their best.
I am a senior in high school and as such, have had several years of English classes. I was in AP English last year. In addition, I've had some experience nannying older kids and helping them with their homework.
I do not yet have a standard pricing. I am flexible on pay.
I have a great love for English, and have always wanted to find a way to share that love. Because of the way that careers are set up, becoming an English teacher is not a very lucrative career and it makes it hard to want to go into that job. Though I am a senior in high school, I still want to influence younger kids and help them to succeed.
I have worked with kids 12-16, both in English classes, in the writing center at school, and through nannying.
