Hello! My name is Savannah and I have been a tutor for 5+ years. I received my Bachelor's in Business Administration in 2017 and followed it with an MBA in 2018. I served as both a peer tutor and teacher's assistance in college teaching a variety of subjects from finite math to astronomy. Since then I've been working private tutoring from math and would love to start helping more students!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by getting all the information for the course and looking at the planned outline of the class. From there, I discuss how the student feels about each topic and make notes for areas we might need to go over. From there we work our way through things to get groundwork established and come up with a plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained as a tutor for university-level students and worked as a teacher assistant in the business college for over a year.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Reach out and ask questions about what kind of style the tutor has. Make sure that what you need is in line with what the tutor provides (teaching the material vs. helping with the homework vs. test prep, etc.).
