General Tutoring
About
I greatly enjoy being around children, and plan to be a special needs teacher when I am older. I am certified in CPR/First Aid in case of an emergency and have lots of experience working with children due to my work where I interned at schools and the babysitting of my younger siblings and cousins.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I first meet with a student we will first talk about what they are struggling with in school, and what they think they need to be better about. The first tutoring session will not be super intense, simply because I need to learn about their learning style and personality. I will also use the input from their parents about their struggles to form my own lesson plan for the student that will work best for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have interned at two different schools in California to help better my understanding of small-group work with special needs children, I often babysitting my younger siblings and cousins, and I have helped tutor both my younger brother (middle school) and sister (elementary school).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
As a standard, I will charge $25-$30 for a student depending on the rigor of the lesson.
