I have a BA in Humanities and an MEd in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I hold an Illinois PreK-Grade 8 teaching certificate. I have taught in and administered comprehensive child development programs. I have had at least 6 one one one tutorial relationships with students 5-46 years old since 1965. My strengths are in reading and cognitive strategies /problem solving. I own a toy and materials library that helps me provide students with multiple avenues to concept and skills development.

My goal is to make learning fun. I am entirely capable of teaching based off worksheets and books but I love teaching based off games. Kids enjoy learning this way and they will remember what they learn. I have been a 1:1 para and behavior technician for over 6 years, working with kids for 20 years. I meet students where there at, then take steps towards where they need to be.

Greetings, I am an Assistant Professor with 3 years of directed college teaching experience, currently 20+ years State license K-8 Teacher with 5 years of one on one tutoring students K-12 the grade and having a 98% success rate of raising post test percentage scores after comparing pretesting skills.

Outside of a class setting you should feel at ease asking the questions you need to succeed; we will always work toward mutual understanding of any subject. The goal is to come away from the session feeling like you understand what you've previously been taught and you're prepared for the next module. I am a current undergraduate student at Washington State University, majoring in English and Linguistic anthropology. I'm finishing up my first year with a 3.5 GPA, so I'd like to think I could be of use to someone.

I am a retired teacher and have taught 4th and 5th grades. I also worked with special education students for several years.I have taught Resource Room Reading and have lots of experience subbing in middle school, music and elementary school since retiring. I love getting students to the "A-ha" moment when they learn a new concept.
