I recently retired from a corporate job, have been investing my energy tutoring high-school & college students as well as adults in the business world to learn English or Chinese as a second language. I love helping people achieve their goals in learning a new language, to obtain a new tool in engaging with this world. I am myself bilingual, so super excited to help my students acquire a new language to enrich their own lives. I'm responsive, patient, and I always invest time to learn about my students on a personal level, to be able to tailor and optimize the learning experiences for you.

watching students grow being around the students and helping them grow I been doing this for over 7 yrs now and watching my students grow is very special I sometimes have my students bring whatever they feel helps them with reading or math or even writing. I have seen a light go on for a child and their whole outlook on school and themselves change. That is what excites me about teaching. I have spent the last 20 years working with kids who have fallen between the cracks in our educational system. Hearing some of them described in a way that was totally foreign to my experience of them was puzzling, to say the least.
