During the 2022-2023 school year, John tutored our two children (junior and freshman in high school). John quickly got to know our children during their separate sessions and built a strong rapport with both of them. Our children are very different types of learners, and John found ways to successfully engage and support each of them. Our daughter said, "He is so flexible and willing to adjust what we are working on to what we actually need help with. We set the agenda together. He also really values our ideas and takes the time to ask us what we think." Our son explained, "He helps walk me through things instead of just telling me how to do something. Sometimes that's harder in the moment because I have to think more, but then when I go to do something on my own on a test or for an assignment, it's much easier. I have really learned how to do the things he has shown me and I am much more confident that I can do them on my own." As a parent, John has been incredibly professional. He communicates about schedule, billing, student progress, and shows a genuine interest in our kid's well-being and success. Aziz was a great fit for my daughter. He really helped build back her confidence with AP Calculus AB after dealing with a teacher that never took time to explain in school. Aziz gave her the time and patience she needed to succeed. She brought up her grade and got a 5 on the AP exam. Couldn't have asked for more from him. I highly recommend his services.
