I am a Professor of Theatre, and the Chair of Theatre, Speech and Dance at the College of William and Mary, where she teaches Renaissance studies, playwriting and gender studies. I hold a Ph.D. from UCLA, and previously taught at Goldsmiths College, University of London. I am the author of several books on theatre, including Performance Analysis: an Introductory Coursebook, co-edited with Colin Counsell, and Introduction to Theatre: A Direct Approach. With the three years, experience gotten, I got what's needed to become an outstanding tutor. My services are enjoyable because my lessons are always full of fun. I do my best to make sure students enjoy to the fullest the lesson. I do my best to go through over and over to make sure they understand while having fun. I enjoy everything about teaching but what I enjoy best, is the fact that students end up conversing the language as natives. Also, been able to bring joy and laughter on a student's face while teaching the language is what I like too.

I teach students (ranging from disadvantaged kids to Wall Street lawyers) how to get their message across in a way that's likely to move their readers/listeners to share their views and act in a way they desire. I teach them to clarify their own agenda, determine their audience/readers' agendas and link the two. In clear, concise, compelling prose. Most people just talk and write to themelves. My students focus on moving the meter. I've been in communications for more than 30 years and in various forms of teaching, training and coaching for 20 years

As a current college student sporting a 3.75 GPA in all english related courses i feel as if i'm qualified to tutor. My love for the advancement and growth of children's familiarty with english aside i believe i can help further their love for it. Whether that be reading, teaching, or simply introducing them to pathways they held no knowledge about. I gladly welcome parental feedback and open dialogue at any time regarding lessons and will respond to said students in a open discussion style. My overall goal is to help these young minds flourish and succeed!!

i give my students the chance to tell me their difficulties, by so doing i make sure they get to understand whatever is being taught before we move to the next step. because without getting rid of diffculties we cant make a headway. i am always happy when i interact with my students and they are able to tell me what i taught them and can also express theirselves perfectly well.
