Education is more than a profession. It's a passion. Our mission is to improve the skill set of each and every student so that they are both knowledgeable and confident in the classroom. With the three years, experience gotten, I got what's needed to become an outstanding tutor. My services are enjoyable because my lessons are always full of fun. I do my best to make sure students enjoy to the fullest the lesson. I do my best to go through over and over to make sure they understand while having fun. I enjoy everything about teaching but what I enjoy best, is the fact that students end up conversing the language as natives. Also, been able to bring joy and laughter on a student's face while teaching the language is what I like too.

I am a VA certified teacher (PK-6) in my 16th year of teaching. I also have my masters degree in Leadership in Math Education which certifies me to teach Math for K-8. The majority of my teaching career has been in 5th/6th grade math. Additionally, I have been privately tutoring students in grades 4-9 in various concepts of math for 10+ years.

I value patience and kindness in my approach. I believe students need to be nurtured to the fullest extent possible. I enjoy getting to know students. Each child is unique and has a different person personality. That's what I enjoy most.

I'm especially excited when you feel like you are learning and improving. Learning is all about having fun! I don't just drill skills, but I like to provide activities and games for retention. I tutor a seond-grader from Vietnam. We learn from each other. It brings me joy that he looks forward to me coming. He never knows what I will bring or what game/activity we will do.
