I found my success in tutoring in the fact that I’m not exceptionally brilliant at math and had many of the same struggles my students had. (Even having to repeat a class or two). We provide homework help, test prep, and improving math skills through a customized learning plan based on the needs of the student. Each session is 1 hour in length. After a FREE assessment, we'll put together a customized learning plan and schedule of sessions for each student. We typically meet in person at our tutoring center, but we can also do session online or a combination of both. I love helping others see connections and patterns in math as they develop strategies to solve various problems. It is fun to identify the rules and patterns rather than simply try to memorize formulas. It is so helpful to see the reasoning behind formulas, strategies, etc. and remember than math is one of our few consistencies in life.
