I worked as a litigation attorney at a top law firm in New York City for almost 10 years. As much as I loved studying law, I did not enjoy practicing it. So, after obtaining a Master's in International Relations with a focus on Development Economics, I transitioned to non-profit work but then eventually found my way to teaching English. I have now taught for 7 years, and I love it. I have taught 7th Grade, 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 12th Grade, and AP English Language. I also coach our Debate team. I love helping the younger generation build their skills, knowledge, and confidence. I also love learning from them. For example, I am now a HUGE fan

I was a Special Education teacher for 10 years and currently work with children on the Spectrum. I have a master’s degree in Psychology and love working with kids. I break concepts into smaller chunks and scaffold to build independence.

I am an elementary school teacher working with high risk students. I am passionate about helping my students get to be where they need to be and watching their progress on a daily basis. I focus on differientiated instruction and time tested routines with phonics and reading fluency. I have educating students for 30 years and have worked with students with special needs and English Language Learners. I am in graduate school for a Philosophy Ph.D. at the University of Utah. I graduated with honors from Clemson University with a B.A. in Philosophy and Biology and a minor in Psychology. I am currently a graduate TA and in addition to creating course materials and grading, I offer individual attention to each of my students to help them succeed in not only getting good grades but in deeply understanding the content.
