It always excites me when a student gains fluency in the target language. It does take work and practice, but once gained it is infectious.

I'm passionate about helping students communicate effectively, with true learning. I adapt lessons to the needs and preferences of the students, accommodate schedules, and allow flexibility. I am retired after 40 years of success with students of all ages and backgrounds. I have received several awards including Texas Spanish Teacher of the Year, Texas Outstanding Advanced Placement Teacher, and Innovative Teaching Awards.
