Ms.Chistine was extremely helpful with tutoring my son. We specifically needed support with his upcoming 5th grade STAAR & entering 6th grade ISEE exams, which she provided. She was patient, straightforward, engaging, and kind. My son was able to quickly warm up to her. I really appreciated the strategies she taught him to use during his exams and we saw tremendous growth. (He mastered both exams!) He suffers from dyslexia and a speech impairment, but he has over came and built so much confidence in his reading going there that he signed up for a reading competition at school! She is a teacher who has continued to learn throughout her tenure, giving her the ability to connect with each new generation, as well as former students. Kathy is a goal-oriented teacher. She inherently understands that each individual learns at their own pace and in their own way. Kathy continues to work with students until she knows how they learn, and then adjusts her teaching style to maximize impact. She is patient while still being structured guide. Kathy finds successes, and then teaches how to spell them.

Customized tutoring With hardly 2 weeks left for ACT, I wanted to get someone to help my daughter with Reading and English parts of the ACT test. Gabriela quickly put together a customized program, after meeting the first time that included homework outside of tutoring hours. After the second meeting (4 hrs total tutoring time), my daughter's practice tests saw a significant improvement (between 8 to 10 points). She was able to apply all strategies that Gabriela taught her. I highly recommend Gabriela for any of language help she provides but would personally recommend her for Reading and English sections of standardized testing. I feel she is highly skilled in customizing a tailored program for the student rather than a one size fits all approach.

I like Ryan because he is relatable. He is a good teacher but switches things up because he is still a young adult. I think hes able to teach me because hes still in touch with modern games and music. I find it fun even to learn from because its nice to be able to relate to a teaching figure. --- Kieran
