My name is Brooke Kirkey and I have been an English teacher for 16 years. I have a B.A. in Print Journalism and M.Ed in Educational Leadership. I am highly qualified to teach all grade levels with certifications in PK-12, and a principal certification. Aside from my experience in the classroom with students of all ages and stages, I also have a passion for reading and writing. It is not only my profession, but what I truly love to do for fun in my spare time. I look forward to meeting and working with students to develop individualized tutoring that will help fill any gaps, and elevate their writing to the next level.

As a biology graduate, I have developed a strong passion for understanding how living systems work and for helping others make sense of complex scientific concepts. Through my coursework, I have built a solid foundation in topics such as cell biology, genetics, and human anatomy, while also learning the importance of clear communication and critical thinking. My name is Ruwayd Abdalla, and I am currently conducting research in the Department of Neurosurgery at UT Southwestern while applying to medical school. I graduated from TCU in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. During my junior year at TCU, I tutored college biology students and discovered my passion for working with learners of all backgrounds. My goal is to ensure each student has the best chance of succeeding. I am committed to being there every step of the way, adapting to each student’s unique learning style to make complex topics understandable. My approach ensures that students leave each session confident enough to teach the
