I have been an educator for over 30 years now. I specialize in helping young students- primarily grades 1-8 with improving their reading and comprehension skills. I’ve been told I’m patient, flexible and creative!

My name is Brooke Kirkey and I have been an English teacher for 16 years. I have a B.A. in Print Journalism and M.Ed in Educational Leadership. I am highly qualified to teach all grade levels with certifications in PK-12, and a principal certification. Aside from my experience in the classroom with students of all ages and stages, I also have a passion for reading and writing. It is not only my profession, but what I truly love to do for fun in my spare time. I look forward to meeting and working with students to develop individualized tutoring that will help fill any gaps, and elevate their writing to the next level.

Love working with children. I am a retired public and Christian school teacher. I taught 47 years most 2nd but also 3rd, 4th, and fifth.
