I developed a passion for tutoring and teaching while at Rice University in Houston TX, that is where my love for tutoring started. I realized how much I enjoyed helping my classmates understand complex concepts and seeing that “aha” moment when something finally clicked. Over the years, I’ve developed a passion for mentorship and constantly adapting my approach to fit each student’s needs, whether tutoring math, mentoring underprivileged students, or training new tutors. I have 14 years of teaching experience. I also have graded AP Physics tests. I love teaching one on one, and I will help develop the skills you need to learn in your class.

I am a senior chemistry student at UT Austin with a composite science teaching certificate pending. I have completed all of my teaching courses including student teacher, where I taught Pre-AP chemistry to two classes for a semester. I have also tutored Pre-AP and AP chemistry from junior year of high school to junior year of college unofficially and for tutoring positions. I enjoy working with students, especially individually, to help build their knowledge and foundation of sciences and how things work. I love when students get that "Aha!" moment and visibly perk up.
