Ashalene has done an outstanding job tutoring my 13year old son with his Algebra1 class. With Fairfax County School coming off of a year of online curriculum (for the 1st time in history) due to COVID, he was forced to do a lot of adjusting and we found that he struggled to retain skills he learned the year prior. For the first time we saw him having a really hard time with some subjects in school, so reach reached out to Ashalene. There was an immediate difference in his confidence and feelings towards algebra. Besides being knowledgeable Ashalene has shown patience and adaptability adjusting to my sons needs at a time when it was much needed.

Excellent teacher! My son is a student of his that started off pretty rough… my son has Dyslexia and other disabilities, he worked very hard with my son. He has a lot of patients and will work extra with your kiddo! He did amazing work with mine and now he is doing amazing! Mr. Washerman is one of a kind! Would love to have more teachers like him! He truly cares about his students! I’m hoping he remains his teacher for the upcoming school year!
