I have a bachelor of science degree in mathematics with minors in computer science and general business. I have master of science degree in higher education with an emphasis in teaching mathematics. I have worked in an office setting for over a decade and I’ve been in full time classroom for over a decade. I love to help other learn and have prepared many students to succeed.

I recently graduated from the University of Miami with a B.S. in Biology and have a strong background in biology, algebra, and related life science subjects. As a student, I sometimes needed to approach difficult topics from multiple angles before fully understanding them myself, which helps me better understand common student challenges and explain concepts in a patient and approachable way.

My name is Brooke Kirkey and I have been an English teacher for 16 years. I have a B.A. in Print Journalism and M.Ed in Educational Leadership. I am highly qualified to teach all grade levels with certifications in PK-12, and a principal certification. Aside from my experience in the classroom with students of all ages and stages, I also have a passion for reading and writing. It is not only my profession, but what I truly love to do for fun in my spare time.
