My daughter had to write a pre-algebra test in a few days and I was concerned she was struggling. I contacted SoFlo online, expressed my concern and in spite of the tight schedule they moved things around to accommodate my daughter. I witnessed the session and it’s the best thing since sliced bread. I love the teaching method, and that my daugher was offered multiple methods to solve the same problem. I recommend SoFlo highly!

Valentina did an excellent job with our son. He and his friends are taking HS Algebra 1 while in middle school. Unfortunately, their teacher was not instructing them causing most in the class to fail. We contacted Valentina early in the semester hoping she could help bring the grades up to at least passing before the semester ended. Valentina worked with my son on two occasions. According to my child, Valentina was able to help him break down the problems and understand the concepts and why's to Algebra which were eye opening to him. He said he could have passed all the tests had the teacher explained Algebra like Valentina. After working with her, his test grades started to soar. When we contacted Valentina, his Algebra average was a 56. He is now sitting at an average of 100 on his most recent progress report. The grade is especially important due to the fact that he is taking this course in Middle School and his average will follow him to HS. The struggling teacher eventually resigned in the first semester. Valentina was the very first tutor we ever used. Our child was reluctant because he felt he was a failure for needing one. Valentina was so good with him, explaining that even those who are not failing can always get guidance just to give them an extra boost, maybe taking their grade from a 90 to a 100. She completely removed his perceived stigma around tutoring and asked for her help again. We highly recommend Valentina, not only for her math skills but also because of her positive interactions with our child.

Ms. Cross is patient and explains thoroughly. She takes the time to make sure I understand every step. I was not as confident when I started and I was worried about not being prepared for the state exam. Once I completed my 3 week session, I left fully understanding all the material I should have learned during the year with my regular teacher. Ms. Cross has helped me so much! I passed my math state exam, almost mastering it and I ended the year with an A! I could not have done it without Ms. Cross helping me understand and build my confidence. I cannot wait to start prepping in July for my upcoming Freshman year!
