After 30 years in media production, I changed careers and became a classroom teacher through an alternative certification program in Texas. I hold these certifications currently: Generalist 4-8, Social Studies 8-12, Journalism 7-12, and ESL Supplemental 4-12. I recently retired from the classroom, but want to continue my ties to education. The bulk of my classroom experience is with students that have learning differences such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and executive functioning difficulties. I have specialized in working with students on an individual basis and delivering instructions based on their learning styles.

I'm a graduate student at The University of North Texas with 8 years in education. I'm a Wilson Reading System Certified Reading Practitioner with my Texas Teachers certification in special education. My goal is to continuing helping inquiring minds grow and become the best scholar they can be.
