I have a B.S. Math degree from U. S. Naval Academy and 25 years consulting experience and two years as college professor. I love to teach, set high standards and listen well. I believe in trying hard and enjoying the results. I want to help students advance in academics and life. I am really good at Geometry and Statistics (which I have taught) I am also heavily involved in Severe Weather Impact mitigation by discovering innovations, creating an innovation factory, and deploying new effective products. I have experience as a tutor for ten years working with the same students as go through their schooling. I have worked with students from elementary up to college for math and some science including chemistry and physics. I recently taught high school students computer programing part-time for two years. My background in engineering helps me to provide strong math and science skills and my ability to understand the perspectives of my students allows me to personally adapt to their needs and ensure strong progress.
