I have not only been a research scientist at several medical centers and research companies, I've taught biology and other sciences for grades 9-12, college, and was an Instructor at U-Michigan Medical School, where I was the Manager of the Learning Resource Center. I have experience tutoring students with various learning disabilities. I use creative approaches to reinforce theory.

As a tutor, I bring a special passion for history and writing that nobody can match. Through using narratives and careful explanations of historic nuances, I can make students want to explore more about history on their own outside of the classroom or my tutoring sessions. I am a second year undergraduate student at Rutgers University, majoring in biomedical engineering through the Honors College. I love tutoring and mentoring students, and I have been involved in such experiences for years. I was a team leader in the National Honors Society chapter at my high school, and through their peer tutoring program, I helped many kids with their classes. Also, during my first year at college, I joined Research Connect as a mentor, helping underprivileged high school students learn about sickle cell disease, wet-lab research skills, and college admissions, so I have experience in a lot of the services I provide.
