As a professor at City College and Hunter College CUNY, I committed to holistically supporting my students in all of their needs. I am intensely committed to serving students from all backgrounds. My approach is to get to know my students and tailor my tutoring and instruction to their specific learning style. I have a PhD and over ten years of experience teaching adults and young adults, undergrad and graduate students. Including my experience teaching in higher education, I have taught English and History in highschool and adult education classes in reading and writing for the GRE.

My goal is for student' to experience the joy of learning new information and improve academic performance.I use a multi sensory approach to learning to achieve this goal. I assess students' and start instruction at their current level. I make learning exciting by infusing instructional games and technology into tutoring. I follow the goals on student's I.E.P. To increase academic achievement. I have a master's degree in Education with a Principal Certificate. I am certified as a Teacher of the Handicapped.
