I am a recent high school graduate and I have one year of tutoring experience. K-5 material is largely what I worked with in my one year of tutoring. I worked with one student who was in third grade. I am empathetic and understanding, and I put students first. My goal is to help students make sense of what seems impossible. I am patient and consistently try to help students feel validated in their academic endeavors. I also strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for students to eliminate outside sources of stress. I am always open to feedback and will alter my methods to suit parental goals.

As a current 5th grade math teacher with 6+ years of teaching experience, all K-8 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to 8th grade. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals.
