Hi, My name is Jane. I recently received my TEFL certification and I am excited to teach English to ESL learners. I try to make the lessons fun and engaging. I have worked with young students in preschool environments over the last five years and more recently teaching English to adults. I try to encompass a lot of English dialogue among the students in my classes. I thoroughly enjoy meeting students from other parts of the world and learning about their culture and language as well.

I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2024 with a degree in Philosophy and History. Since then I have been living in France and teaching English as both a language assistant and a teacher. In September, I will be starting a masters programming in the French as a foreign language. I have experience teaching French, English, Literature, and standardized test prep.

I am a 5th grade teacher licensed by the state of MA in Elementary and Special Ed. My specialty is breaking down core concepts into manageable chunks, as well as discussing content and topics to further meaningful understanding using Tier 1 vocabulary.
