I am a Master's student, but on hiatus as I finish my capstone, and part of my love for social work and children is working with them, watching them grow, and helping them learn. Excited to hear from you!

I taught English 15 years at Noble and Greenough school, mostly to juniors and seniors. I developed an approach to writing designed to address students' dislike of writing as meaningless hoop-jumping; instead, i think the creative apaect of all writing, even essays on literature, is essential. Finally, my hope is that every student recognizes the importance of his or her voice as unique, and that it deserves to be refelcted in writing. Having retired from teaching, I sit at home with my two newly adopted kittens, Pish and Brio, and spend hours writing. I couldn't be happier. Although relatively new to the field, I have experience working with a wide-range of learners and have been able to be successful in working with students, despite the challenges they face as learners.
