Math was the subject I dreaded when I first started teaching. I used to believe that kids despised math and that teaching it would be a chore. Young students, on the other hand, adore math. Elementary school is very concrete, and teachers use a lot of hands-on materials to keep students interested in learning. As I progressed through the grades, I noticed that my students' enthusiasm for math waned.
