Math was the subject I dreaded when I first started teaching. I used to believe that kids despised math and that teaching it would be a chore. Young students, on the other hand, adore math. Elementary school is very concrete, and teachers use a lot of hands-on materials to keep students interested in learning. As I progressed through the grades, I noticed that my students' enthusiasm for math waned. I am a 16-year-old at Elkhorn North who specializes in Algebra and Geometry. I am good at science and chemistry as well! I enjoy writing and peer-reviewing essays, poems, and creative pieces. I have four siblings of varying ages, so I'm great with kids and preteens. I'm new to tutoring professionally but I enjoy teaching my friends and siblings. I am currently a senior and highschool and plan on attending college this fall. I have taken all math up to calculus 2 along with physics 1 and 2 in the past couple of years and I enjoy helping others better understand the subject matter.
