I am a retired elementary school teacher. I taught all levels of math in elementary school and showed improvement with student growth continually throughout my career. I have worked in after school one on one or larger group tutoring for 10 years.

I am very hands on and teach math with manipulatives available, as well as independent discussion and examples that apply to daily life.

I encourage individual learning styles and modalities for students as well as study skills that are incorporated into lessons to enable students to identify how they learn.

I enjoy enabling students to investigate options in their learning. I enjoy watching students grow and achieve success on their level in the subject area.

I taught elementary school with much success, for 28 years before retiring. I love younger students and the way their brains form solutions for basic math solving skills.

I will help students achieve their goals by communicating with them and their caretakers on a regular basis, assessing often to show growth as well as areas needed improving.
