I am a retired high school physics, chemistry and math teacher with 30+ years of classroom experience. Since retiring 5 years ago, I have been tutoring online with students of all different ability levels. I am patient and have a few tricks up my sleeve to help students navigate their way through STEM subjects!

Hello! A little about me…I am an avid reader, lover of puzzles, and word games. I am passionate about education and making learning accessible to all. I received my BS in Special Education in 2019 and my MA in Education in 2023. I am a licensed special education teacher in the state of Minnesota and have been teaching in special education for five years; I have primarily worked in K-5, but worked one year in middle school. I have tutored for over two years. I am certified in the Orton-Gillingham (OG) introductory level. I offer reading, writing, and math tutoring. I look forward to working with you!

Over the past five years, I have worked as a licensed elementary teacher in diverse roles. I had two years in my own classroom, followed by three years in specialist roles. Throughout this time, I have especially enjoyed opportunities to tutor both students who need some reinforcement of concepts, as well as those looking for a challenge. I am comfortable teaching all subjects K-8, and have experience with public, private, and homeschool education. As your child's tutor, I will always provide encouragement, foster a love of learning, and provide an individualized approach.
