I volunteer at a local elementary school in my state that teaches Spanish Immersion! I have always loved to teach and learn. I know three languages as of now, and I only want to learn more. I don’t have my degree yet, but I will in about a month. I am minoring in Linguistics and Interpreting. I don’t currently have any certifications, but that will change very soon! Hi all! My name is Maggie Cristoforo! A little about me — I graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a minor in Biochemistry. During my undergraduate career, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in the biochemistry department and as a research technician. Through these experiences, I developed a strong passion for science education and discovered how much I love helping students build confidence and understanding in challenging subjects. I love to learn and help others learn too. I work as a swim teacher helping kids learn to swim in a comfortable, supportive environment. I like to teach through explanation, demonstration, practice, and feedback to really solidify skills.
