As a college student, I have very recent experiences with the high school system and classes that are specific to high school students. This allows me to relate with students in a different way as I was in their shoes recently.

Within the first two weeks of his sophomore year at Phillips Academy, Andover, Curtis was one of three students selected to skip out of the year-long Competence in Writing requirement. He then continued to stand out in advanced English electives meant for juniors and seniors, often receiving only an A+ in a class. Through deep study of adapting literature for performance, Curtis caught the acting bug in college and graduated with a degree in Performance Studies from Northwestern University.
