I've been an elementary school teacher for the past 22 years. A majority of my time teaching has been in K-2. I have lots of experiences working with students of all needs. I believe making connections and having fun play an important role in a child's learning. I love teaching. I love the moments when a struggling student finally figures something out. I love teaching students that there are ways to have fun and learn.

I taught English 15 years at Noble and Greenough school, mostly to juniors and seniors. I developed an approach to writing designed to address students' dislike of writing as meaningless hoop-jumping; instead, i think the creative apaect of all writing, even essays on literature, is essential.
