Hi, my name is Christa, and I love working with students! A fun fact about me is that I can say the dialogue from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by heart. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a more personal level, I am a patient and caring type of person! I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I am a physics major with a math minor, and I am well versed in Math and Physics. In Mathematics, I can help with any subject from arithmetic to Calculus II, or either AP Calculus course, as well as AP Statistics. I am also able to help with Physics courses, particularly high school physics, up to introductory college level courses in Mechanics and Electricity and Magnetism. I am still a student. This means I can more easily understand the perspective of students seeing new ideas for the first time.

I recently graduated from University of Arizona with a major in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I am in second year of med school. I have 4 years of tutoring experience. I was a teaching assistant for 3 years in college and I also helped put at peer tutoring services at my uni.
