About this tutor

Since I am in college, I tend to get along with students my age or below, and that serves as a great benefit to engage the student in what they're learning.

I am also extremely patient, flexible, and am extremely passionate about helping you or your child reach an understanding in math and science subjects!

Ever since I tutored a peer in Spanish III in high school and helped her go from D's on tests to an A+, I knew I had to continue tutoring. There is nothing more rewarding than to see a student feel proud for the grades, understanding, and/or new-found interest they have reached.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

When I start working with a new student, I begin by getting to know their curriculum and where their strengths and weaknesses lie. I make sure that they're all caught up in work, and like to design a flexible lesson plan for them to learn the material and succeed on their tests.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am currently attending my third year at the University of California at Berkeley for my Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering. I have been tutoring here and there for the past six years in math, science, and reading subjects.
