I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2003 with a Masters of Science in Education and a minor in learning disabilities. A wonderful job was offered to me after student-teaching, and started a 23 year career at the same school. My class wrote grants to fund a garden and compost program that we used to discus science. This is what makes my teaching style unique and awarded me a Kansas Teacher of the Year experience in 2024. Finding creative ways to help make concepts rememberable. I will do anything to help "make-it-click" because I love the look on student faces when the magic happens. My belief is that students learn best if they are
