I spent about a decade in Army Special Forces. The biggest task there is to train partner forces, i.e., foreign armies with which the US is working. That involves a lot of teaching. Usually this was through translators, but I did once teach in Spanish. I'm currently completing a Ph.D. in philosophy at IU Bloomington, where I've taught my own courses in Introduction to Philosophy (twice), Introduction to Symbolic Logic (twice), Thinking and Reasoning, and Scientific Reasoning.
