Amy is excellent! She’s intelligent, incredibly knowledgeable and clearly very experienced. She has been a wonderful tutor to my middle schooler son. She’s creative, patient and very willing to tweak lessons and material to suit what her students need. My son has made gains with his reading level and decoding skills because of the time he has spent tutoring with Amy. Not only is she a talented tutor, she is an incredible advocate and sounding board to me as a parent. I have contacted her countless times to ask her opinion about what is happening in and out of my son’s classroom. I’m very grateful for her talents and and feel fortunate to have her working with my son!! One other thing I love is that she bills monthly and takes multiple forms of payment — so easy! Japjeev is the first tutor that my son went to, she was a catalyst in motivating him in becoming independent at "try first and then ask for help". She connected well with him and helped him with his after school homework assignments as well as critiquing his writings. I love YOUnique Minds. Sign up process was very easy. Pleasant director, she answer all my questions. Tutoring has been going well. Tutor has been very patient. We have done virtual,face to face and group. She has been engaged and loved all of them. She looks forward to each class. I also love that one of her tutors sends me a report of what they did and where she should focus her time next session. Overall I am pleased.
