I am an experienced math teacher. I've taught four courses and assisted the instructor in several classes during my graduate study. My background is in applied mathematics and engineering. I've passed many advanced courses in mathematics and published numereous papers in accredited journals. I'm very open to feedback and comments. If parents and students could provide additional resources themselves, it's really appreciated. Also, I'm quite accessible an...

Hi! I'm Sofia. I love working with students and traveling. For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a personal level, and with students, I am a patient and nerdy type of person. I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Computer Engineering and have been tutoring with SoFlo for two years. Math and Science build on themselves, so my methodology is to identify gaps in a student’s knowledge of a subject and help to f

Nicole L.
Saadutu was a wonderful tutor. She was able to explain complex concepts in a way that made them simple. She was very responsive and timely, and even interrupted her own schedule to help with last minute issues. My son was lost at the beginning of the semester before we found her and getting consistent As and Bs after just a few weeks of starting with Saadutu.

I enjoyed the one-on-one experience with my past math tutors. Usually, in a big class setting I feel forgotten and easily lost in the math process, and become frustrated. Atleast in a math tutoring atmosphere, the tutor goes at the pace I'm comfortable with, and breaks it down slowly for me to understand the steps. Also the tutor is focused on you only in most scenarios, which also helps when you don't understand right away, and you can ask for assistance. The stress level is also at a all-time low because you don't feel rushed in a tutor setting. In class, you feel rushed to a certain extent.
