Learning to read is empowering. It opens so many doors, both personally and professionally. I have been a special education teacher for over 30 years. I no longer serve the public school system but have decided to offer my services in my own classroom I build as an addition to my home. I hold a Masters Degree in Special Education, a BA in Sociology/Human Services. I connect with children on the spectrum and love my SPED kidos.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know them by asking them what they enjoy doing for fun. What subjects they like, what they don't like.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated from the University of Oregon in Special Education. Rated one of the top SPED program in the Nation. Continue annual trainning in reading and Direct Instruction Programs.

My hourly rate begins at $25.00 hr- $50.00 an hour.
