I'm a retired special education teacher from Massachusetts I would like work with students on a part-time basis. I am especially great with reading writing and all areas of language art's. I can handle some elementary school math issues. I am great with assessments and planning for.your children's success

I will seek to meet the student where they are. If there is something about conventional learning strategies that is just not right for them, I will find one that engages their creativity. I enjoy seeing that moment when a student "gets it". I practically can see the light bulb appear above their heads. Finding out the best way a student learns-what engages them, and striving for those moments, is an incredible journey I can repeat over and over again.

I am currently in the education field as a paraprofessional working on being certified in the next few years. I have a passion in math and social studies/language arts. I come up with fun ways to explain each concept.
