I found my passion for helping students that struggle with Reading and Math while working as an Interventionist several years ago.

As an Educator I am aware that many students are statistically at least two grade levels behind in reading. Low literacy levels can wreak havoc on the ability to learn content, engage in higher-level thinking, and build interstitial background knowledge. As an educator, I believe in responsive instruction. Teaching is a pedagogy that recognizes and encompasses how knowledge is communicated and noticed by the students.
