What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start by getting to know the student. Building rapport is essential because children don't learn from people they aren't fond of.
Students complete an assessment depending on the subject in which services will be provided to determine their strengths and weaknesses. Afterwards, their personal learning plan is created which outlines goals, and action steps that will be taken to help the student reach those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Tutors receive monthly trainings and periodic check-ins with our CEO who holds both her bachelors and masters degree in education as well as endorsements in Reading and ESOL. Our CEO also works as an Instructional Reading Coach thus she brings a plethora of knowledge to the tutors and students of iTeach iTutor.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
1-on-1 Pricing:
Online: starting at $70/hour
In-person: starting at $80/hour
Group Pricing:
Online: $25/hour
In-person: $35/hour
We also accept Florida's Step Up for Students Scholarship.
How did you get started teaching?
"When I was 8 years old, my dream was to become a pediatrician. However, during my senior year of high school, I had a calling that led me to change my mind, and I decided to go into education. From that moment, teaching has been, and continues to be, my passion. It's something I excel at. I'm like a music conductor but with education. I live, eat, sleep, and breathe this profession."

We're always fond of the growth our students continue to make. Each student enrolled into our program continues to make progress as evident by their performance on state assessments.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
